Today in my life

For once I've been very productive. Today, I have managed to get my hair done AND fnd some adorable flower headbands for our family pictures tomorrow.

Jnan's Salon in Lucedale gave me a very spectacular ombré hairdo today. I adore Jnan because she's almost as weird as I am. Since my hair is so dark (and already has so much color on it), it took almost two hours to get my black hair (then bright pink after the first hour) to a warm honey brown on the ends. I'll show y'all my inspiration then with a follow up of how the back looked right after she curled it.

XOXO Andrea

#freepeople

If you didn't know before, I'm an Instagram stalker. My name is Andrea, and I'm an Instagram-a-holic. When I wake up, when I'm waiting for my food at a restaurant, being lazy, and right before I go to bed, I'm checking Instagram. Don't get me wrong, I stalk a lot of social media, (I have recently graduated from the school of letting Facebook go) but Instagram is just so fast and easy. So anyways, today while waiting at the CVS pharmacy (I have a sick little girl at my house today), I started on my regular Instagram routine. A few minutes later, I came across Free People's Instagram. After clicking on their page and looking through their pictures for a second, I absolutely fell in love with their 60's and 70's style. The flower headbands, the neutral tones, and flowy materials just scream MAKE LOVE NOT WAR. After saying all of this, I'll let you enjoy them as much as I did.

My top 3

Since I read about 56,468,952 blogs a day, I've picked up on a thing or two. #1 contests are super cool #2 my grammar sucks compared to these amazing ladies (and men) and #3 "My favorite things" lists are possibly the coolest way to get an inside peak on what certain bloggers seem to really enjoy in real life. So, I thought, "what the hell?" OH! But wait, that's right - IM BROKE, and can't afford these super cool gadgets, outfits, and jewels. Sooooo, I'm came up with my own list. It's called "Andrea's cool Pinterest pins and if you copy them I'm gonna be really pissed off because I'm just that kind of jealous 10 year old girl" list. IM KIDDING. It's gonna be my 3 most awesome pins I pin from Pinterest every week (or month invade I forget, which is possible) (very possible). So today for this week, here it goes. I hope you enjoy as much as I do.

ARE THESE NOT THE CUTEST??!! I'm sorry, I'm obsessed. Have I told you about my obsession with monograms? Oh I haven't? Okay, well that's coming soon, but I am. Like, really am. If a monogram tattoo wasn't a tad bit odd (no offense if this does apply) I would get it. I wish to monogram anything and everything. It's wayyyy passed a problem. It's like a "check yourself into rehab" problem now. Sorry not sorry.

Next.....this dress! How adorable? I don't know if it's because of my love for Stevie Nicks that I'm a total flower child junkie, but this just screams Summer of 1969. And I love it. And the dream catcher. No, you CAN NOT always wear dream catchers around your neck, but this time, I'll let it slide.

Have I mentioned my obsession with gold jewelry? (Well, now that it's on paper, I seem to obsess over a lot of things) Anyways, I am. I love it. It reminds me of an old classy lady sipping tea. Like Queen Elizabeth. I bet Kate wears a lot of gold, as well. And the mint looking jewels. It would look equally as beautiful with a long black gown as it would a plain white tshirt. I adore this.

Well, that's it for today. I hope you all enjoyed these three things as I did. Follow up soon on more interesting junk I decide to put out on the web. XOXO Andrea

Leave answers please

Okay, two questions - 1. Can I wear sequins everyday? 2. Would anyone be offended if I wore sequins everyday? I don't know if it's some hormonal spree I'm going through, but lately, I've been OBSESSED with sequins and everything girly. (Yes, these fit into my neutral color palette.) [see post below] I'm blaming it on the constant raining in Hurley lately and the need for something to brighten my day. I don't know. Another thing, please tell me someone is as obsessed with Young Fabulous & Broke's Spring line from way back when or Haute Hippie's? Because I'm dying over the sequin dress above, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. But one last question, who gives a shit if I wear it everyday? It's sequins. They're amazing. XOXO Andrea

My newest purchase :)

Ever changing neutral palette in my wardrobe

Lets start out by saying - black, brown, white, neutral, tan, gray - they're all my favorites. When it comes to cars, clothes, accessories [expect GOLD, if I could wear it everyday, I would] and shoes, neutrals are some of my favorite things. Don't get me wrong, I love color, but neutrals just feel classy and elegant. Even if you're rocking ankle boots and an oversized Piko top, I just feel more put together. And with this crazy life of chasing an almost 3 year old (more to come later), being in school, and job hunting [uh] being put together feels better than you think. Also, don't judge my Pinterest addiction, I'm getting help, okay? More to come with my "Cheetah is a Neutral" motto. XOXO Andrea

Can't it just be summa...

So, this is my first post. How cool? I'll start out by saying this is what happens when I started looking for jobs online. My name is Andrea, and I live in Mississippi on the beautiful Gulf Coast. My love for clothes is crazy, and my love for showing clothes off is ten times crazier. I'm absolutely obsessed with Young, Fabulous & Broke not only because of the clothes, but because its the 3 things that describe me. Follow for more of my favorite items and looks. XOXO
